I think it is so important that you connect with your photographer & videographer beyond loving their work. Not only do we spend a lot of time together but it is important to me and my approach that I get to know you beyond how you met and what time the canape hour starts (still important - we love snacks). I am not just capturing your wedding day but telling your whole love story. So get to know me a little online before we book in our first date!

What Inspires Me
Believe it or not, when I first started working as a assistant videographer at weddings, I didn't enjoy it. I thought it was just a job I got straight outta film school and wasn't for me long term! It wasn't till I filmed a friends wedding that I realised it wasn't weddings I didn't enjoy filming, it was the style and approach most videographers take that wasn't my jam. I didn't enjoy the cookie cutter, slow motion, re-take kinda fake moments that were used time and time again. And don't get me started on bloody Ed showing up every Saturday arvo. Once I realised there isn't just one style of wedding video and that there would be others out there that also had a different flavoured jam preference, my disco ball got spinning.
Now, I love weddings! I love meeting couples who have a story to tell and a true love to celebrate. I love knowing who they are, what is important to them and capturing the fun and organic moments that happen at their wedding. I also love being creative and showcasing who they are in fun ways.
I am inspired by movies and art, by environment, light, colour and a moment in time. I am of course, inspired by people and I am inspired by the little moments that spark joy.
If I walk into your home in the morning and the house is full of chatter and the smell of coffee, I want to incorporate that in your film because that tells part of your story. I am inspired by films and photographs that put me in the moment and it is my goal to take you. back to the moment, so you can relive your wedding story time and time again.

The MBHC Philosophy
My mission on your wedding day is to capture the love and pure moments in all its organic glory! I am first and foremost a storyteller and when you look at my photos or watch my videos I want you to be able to not just see the moment but relive it.
My approach is simple - we hang out, we have a good time... I mean.. It is the best day of your lives right? We should treat it as such! Yes, we’ll spend some time taking some fun and creative shots and when we do we can pop some music on, have a boogie and get a lil silly. I'll tailor my approach, banter & prompting to suit you, your mates and how you give affection to the other best dressed person in the room.
The rest of the day, I am two things. At times, I am a fly on the wall. I'll roam around, with that hawk eye of mine, looking for napping Nana, Uncle Gary's belly laughs, wined up Mum's and cheeky bum grabs when you think no one's watching.
Other times I will probably join ya nearest and dearest on the dance floor for a boog, chat to Grandpa Kev about his camera hobby, do a shot with the loose cousins on Dad's side and have all your aunts ask me how I know you because they forget I am a working gal.
Mirrorball Hearts Club, is just that, a club! A club for people with disco hearts and who sparkle with connection. I love when I get to see past couples again and get to capture future highlights in their life. So once you've joined the club, you're a member for life and you're always welcome back!
